Empowering Tomorrow’s Innovators: Robotics, STEM, and Leadership for Junior High Students
Empowering Tomorrow’s Innovators: Robotics, STEM, and Leadership for Junior High Students
The Parks Junior High Robotics program is thriving—students are already designing, building, and programming robots and gaining hands-on experience in STEM fields. The next step is to take this learning beyond the classroom by competing in regional robotics competitions, where students can showcase their skills, collaborate with peers from other schools, and be inspired to pursue future opportunities in technology and engineering. To make this possible, we are seeking funding to cover competition registration fees and essential replacement parts for our robots. These resources will ensure that all students, regardless of financial background, have the chance to participate fully in this transformative experience. With your support, students will not only compete but also grow as leaders. Robotics competitions require teamwork, creative problem-solving, and leadership under pressure, giving students skills that extend far beyond STEM. Your investment will directly provide students with the opportunity to represent our school, compete on a larger stage, and strengthen their path toward future STEM careers. Together, we can build on the momentum of our already successful program and take our students—and their robots—to the next level.
