Manipulatives and More!

With that comes the challenge of providing hands-on learning opportunities for my youngest students. I have students turning 5 the 1st week back and students who are also turning 6 in the same month. The wide range of ages, backgrounds, school history, developmental needs, primary languages, and fine motor skills make teaching Kindergarten at a Title One school very challenging. In order to honor students where they are, this project will provide manipulatives and hands-on learning materials for all students in my class. Another important component of a happy and healthy year is more SEL literature! The emotions book set will provide short stories with fun and memorable characters.
